2 Remixes 1 Mashup

Sadly Britney does not look quite like the picture I posted above anymore, but she does make decent electro-influenced songs which can be remixed into pretty nice bangers, especially by the Disco Fries. I Wanna Go is by far my favorite new Britney song (and that isn't saying much), but the Disco Fries make into a great dance/ club/ party song with their heavy bass, while still keeping the catchier parts of her song. The other remix is Alesso's remix of the super-successful Pressure, download it if you are a house fan, no question. The Mashup is of two great songs: Avicii's Street Dancer and Wolgang Gartner's Illmerica, and it is done by Basic Physics.

This One's For All You Bass Lovers Out There!

^These were the words that the Glitch Mob guys shouted out before dropping their seven nation army remix, the last song of their encore at Terminal 5 this past Friday in NYC. An event that I was lucky to attend. The Glitch Mob recently released their new ep called We Can Make the World Stop, which consists of the three songs: Warrior Concerto, We Can Make the World Stop, and Palace of the Innocents. I can assure you that this EP is as epic as anything you can expect from the Glitch Mob, and even a little mesmerizing and exotic; as is the case on Palace of the Innocents. The Glitch Mob concert was great, and the drops could not have hit better. They were joined by RJD2 and Phantogram who put on great performances as well. If any of you get a chance, please check out a youtube video of the concert just so you can see the acrobatic female dancer who was flying above us everytime they played a new song; it really made the concert an experience! Not to mention the sweet lights. I've posted Palace of the Innocents from their new ep and the Glitch Mob's banging Seven Nation Army remix from awhile ago. Avicii - Levels (Clockwork Remix)

So if you're like me you think that Avicii's Levels is one of the best house tracks ever made.  So while I don't know if the original will ever be matched, this remix is still really bangin.  Clockwork adds a heavier bass section and turns a light song into something a bit harder.  I like it.  Also included is some nice dubstep.  Haven't been posting much of that, gonna try to step up the efforts.  Hope you like.

So I realize this isn't really electro, but there was a big response to the other Theophilus London song posted so here's another one off his new album Timez Are Weird These Days to be released in the next few days.  The beat is sick and his flow is awesome as always. Really chill, catchy song from the Allstars, I guarantee you'll be dancing by the end. It's one of those songs I would say is definite feel good music. Download and enjoy my friends. One Night in Ibiza is quality too, really nice vocals and a nice beat make it a solid song.

HUGE Collab and New Electro artist James Egbert

Today I have three absolutely sweet new electro songs for you guys. There's a huge collaboration by Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike, which features some essential touches by Afrojack and EPIC vocals by Nervo. The Way We See the World has electro ANTHEM written all over it. Secondly there's James Egbert, a new and very young electro artist who has released two singles so far. Its finally here.  This song will legit send chills down your spine it is so good.  Avicii never fails to deliver, really chill beat with amazing vocals, even non-house fans will like this.  Enough talking, just go and listen.  Also, little bonus, really cool Dada Life mashup of Turbulence and Cotton Eye Joe, works surprisingly well.

Save the World Tonight Remixes (Heavy Bangers)

Since Swedish House Mafia released their epic new single: Save the World Tonight, many producers and artists have sought to remix it. Since there are actually more than ten remixes that I could post here, if not more, I decided to only the post ones which could be classified as "Heavy Bangers". These remixes are not good songs to play around your parents, or at a romantic dinner with your special someone. These songs bump, and they bump heavily.

The first remix is one by Cazzette, a duo of two Swedish dudes, one 17 and another 21. I am relatively unfamiliar with their work except for a sweet Sweet Dreams remix that they made, but all I know is that I love their stuff. This mix is more on the dubstep side than the other two; however, once it drops the bpm really picks up and rages hard.

The second is the Knife Party Remix. This is personally my favorite, and is done by the guys from Pendulum, a group I personally love. It was aired for the first time on Pete Tong's radioshow, but this the legit version. Gotta love the cowbell that they throw in!

The third is from one of my personal favorite electro artists: Zedd. He has down countless sick remixes including ones from Skrillex, the Black Eyed Peas, and even Radiohead. This version has a similar drop to Cazzette's, but it sounds more interesting. Zedd even throws in some bloody beetroots-esque effects in there. Afrojack even played it at a few shows before we knew it was Zedd's. Furthermore, all these remixes are great, so get all of them.

New Bassnectar, Whiskey Pete & Ralvero, and some chill Theophilus London

The new Bassnectar single "upside down" delivers everything you'd expect from Bassnectar, crazy ass bass.  Next song also delivers in the bass department, even if you aren't "Drunk Tonight" things will get funky when this comes on.  The Theophilus London track is such a good song, you'll understand when you hear it.  Enjoy.
