New SICK Skrillex & Knife Party Collab
Here's a preview of the collab between Knife Party and Skrillex. We've mentioned it in earlier posts, but I decided to post the preview just so you guys can get a taste of what's to come, even if we're a little late. From what you can hear, Zoology IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. It incorporates a little moombahton, which is essentially dubstep with the bpm turned down from 140 to about 108. Honestly, I have no idea how Skrillex and Knife Party make their trademark "grinding noises" sound so damn good. This should keep you satisfied till a full download surfaces. Where My Keys: Sick New House Track from The Mau5
DJ(Madeon Remix) - Alphabeat
New Disco Fries Remix + Levels Mashup
Disco Fries, who brought you great remixes of I Wanna Go, Like a G6, and Turn Around just to name a few, released another great banger. This time the duo produced a remix of the Clinton Sparks hit “Sucks To Be You.” Definitely a must hear. The second track is a solid mashup of Avicii’s “Levels” and Guetta’s “Where Them Girls At.” While I haven’t loved any mashups using Levels before this, I can see a lot of people liking “Where Them Levels At.” Check it out.

Sup Avicii, Collide (Afrojack Remix) - Leona Lewis
Not sure how many of you have been following the whole Leona Lewis trying to use Avicii's Fade Into Darkness on her new single "Collide" with out telling him thing, but the good news is they got it all worked out. So without further ado... here is the Afrojack remix of Collide. You know its good when Afrojack's name is on the track. Also have a newish Calvin Harris song and a remix of Pumped Up Kicks by HyJax that brings some pretty serious bass. Enjoy.

Wynter Gordon- Buy my Love(FAREOH remix)
Fareoh is a fantastic up and coming new DJ/Producer from New York City whom I happen to know personally. Despite still being in his teens, he has a bunch of insane songs such as his Move for Me Remix. Nevertheless, His Buy My Love remix is, in my opinion, his best work yet. Wynter Gordon's original version is pretty good itself, but Fareoh honestly kills this track (in the best way possible). Clearly, there is much more to come from Fareoh, and it's guaranteed to be great. Better watch out Avicii. You Feel It Runnin Through Your Bones...
Here is a Dirty Disco Youth remix to a classic song. It goes without saying, but Jerk it Out is a song that's hard to hate. Dirty Disco Youth makes this catchy, well-known, upbeat song into a complete rager which has the perfect mix of the Jerk it Out hook and their added bass-filled goodness--guaranteed to bring relief to any jaded dancefloor. Stereo Planes: Sick New Mashup
A few days ago Fratmusic.com premiered Cake Effect's new mashup Stereo Planes, but no download had been released... until now. To be honest I traditionally enjoy 1v1 mashups way more than ones using multiple songs, but Stereo Planes just sounds so good! Dillon Francis' instrumentation is insane, and the rap verses flow right into Hayley's familiar refrain so smoothly. Props to Cake Effect; he is definitely a mashup artist that you will be seeing more of on this site.
Another New Guetta
In anticipation of the big release on August 29th, we've written up a quick preview of Guetta’s new album. Nothing but the Beat will be the DJ’s fifth album, which will include two discs. The first disc will feature Guetta's traditional house tracks with some HUGE names in R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop music while the second disc will include purely instrumental tracks. Here is the track list:
Disc 1:
1. Where Them Girls At (featuring Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida)
2. Little Bad Girl (featuring Taio Cruz & Ludacris)
3. Turn Me On (featuring Nicki Minaj)
4. Sweat (Snoop Dogg vs. David Guetta)
5. Without U (featuring Usher)
6. Nothing Really Matters (featuring will.i.am)
7. I Can Only Imagine (featuring Chris Brown & Lil Wayne)
8. Crank It Up (featuring Akon)
9. I Just Wanna F*ck (featuring Timbaland & Dev)
10. Night Of Your Life (featuring Jennifer Hudson)
11. Repeat (featuring Jessie J)
12. Titanium (featuring Sia)
Disc 2:
1. The Alphabet
2. Lunar (David Guetta & Afrojack)
3. Sunshine (David Guetta & Avicii)
4. Little Bad Girl (Instrumental Version)
5. Metro Music
6. Toy Story
7. The Future
8. Dreams
9. Paris
10. Glasgow
Guetta has released several of these tracks as singles such as “Where Them Girls At”, "Little Bad Girl”, “Without U”, “Titanium”, “Lunar” and “Night of Your Life”. However several other tracks from Nothing but the Beat such as “Turn Me On” and “Crank It Up” were leaked. Some of the singles listed above were also leaked before their scheduled release dates. Turn Me On is one of my favorite songs from the new album, but it hasn't been getting as much love as it deserves. Enjoy.

BRAND NEW SKRILLEX, GUETTA, and AVICII
Here are some brand new tracks for you guys today, and all from huge names in the Electronic Music Business. Avicii releases a levels-ish sounding track called morphine, which is a little darker but still a good jam. Guetta's new song Glasgow, which he debuted at Glasgow, is unlike the stuff he has been releasing recently, and most closely resembles the energy on the banger Lunar (which we posted awhile back). I had assumed that most of Lunar was Afrojack's work, but clearly Guetta is just as capable of making sick banger House tracks as well as the radio friendly stuff he usually makes. Speaking of radio friendly music, make sure to also check out his work with Jennifer Hudson on Night of Your Life, and his collab with Avicii on Sunshine. Finally, we had posted a live rip of Just Believe by Skrillex, and we finally have the full version. It is insane; can't wait for the full versions of Voltage and Zoology--Skrillex's collab with Knife Party. Enjoy.

Skinny Bitches Get Out!
We recently posted Bombs Away's remix of killer which was an absolute banger, and luckily I did some research on Bombs Away, hoping to find some other hidden gems. As it turns out, there were some "gems"; actually there are a lot of gems, just instead of gems they're bangers. If you have not yet seen the hilarious music video Big Booty Bitches, then please do, or else this post won't make as much sense. Anyways Bombs Away turned Big Booty Bitches into a sick club song, and Dirtylound made it even better. I posted two other of Bombs Aways tracks, and if you like them then you should check their http://soundcloud.com/bombs-away page for more songs. Their songs really bring the bass. Lucky Date

Don't Bring a Gun to a Knife Party
House Remixes
Here are a bunch of quality house remixes which all do something interesting with their songs. Kaskade's remix of Skylar Grey's Invisible is stunning, and while it adds some heavy bass at times it still sounds like an epic house song. Dj Kue adds some force to In the Dark, and necessarily extends the track making it into a club banger. Pendulum's the Island is one of my favorite house songs ever created; it has amazing epic vocals and the instrumentation is insanely good. Tom Pjanoo's remix does a great job on the Island because, rather than trying to make the Island more of a banger (which is impossible), he puts a progressive house twist on the song and turns it into a beautiful, almost avicii-esque track, while still keeping it dark and epic. Needless to say, this song is perfect for clubs, romantic nights, and long walks on the beach. I remember hearing Lo-Fi-Fnk's Boom, but I never remember it being quite as good as Dmitri Vangelis &Wyman's version. The original was a funky little track; however, it was never quite the house banger that I wanted it to be. Now it is. Friday, August 19, 2011
Stars & Rockets On Acid
Here are a few dope mashups that are all unique and flow pretty seamlessly. Stars & Rockets on Acid by DJ Dibella works especially well; just wait for Nicki Minaj's part it sounds sick with To the Stars. Dibella has some other nice mashups and reworks so check out his other stuff here: http://djdibella.com/my-mashupsreworks/.

BANGERS FOR EVERYONE
I think this is the most banger heavy post I have done thus far. All of these songs are absolutely sick party songs, with bass heavy drops. However, nothing is too intense that you can't drop it at a party. Big Gigantic does their best remix yet since their sick edit on Chiddy Bang's Kids remix with Get Em High, adding one of the raunchiest drops i've ever heard. While Nero is known for their heavy drum n bass and dubstep, their work on Must Be the Feeling is more of a house track, and they absolutely kill it. Savoy's remix on Dirty Dancer is a great dance song, no surprise there. Lastly, my absolutely favorite track right now is Bombs Away's Remix of Disco Fries' new song Killer. Killer is definitely something fresh and creative compared to Disco Fries' other work, and I applaud them for that. The point of the murderer/somber lyrics of Killer seems to be that the DJ will kill people on the dancefloor because he is so dirty. Bombs Away actually turns the drop into the sickest thing I've ever heard. Please listen to these tracks with HEAVY BASS and quality speakers. You will be robbing yourself of an amazing experience otherwise. Dada Life - Fight Club is Closed (Religion Remix)

Some Party Tracks

Hold Yuh Beach Party at My Beach House
In honor of my awesome weekend throwing parties with my friend at his beach house, I bring you some outstanding party songs for the beach. Most of these songs are the creations of Sex Ray Vision, who released the no-vocals track My Beach House a while ago, which spawned some solid remixes. My favorite of which is JRowe's Bounce my Beach House, which mashes up My Beach House with Calvin Harris' Beatport hit Bounce. The third is Sex Ray Vision's new version of My Beach House which adds some solid party vocals and reworks the hook of the original. It is aptly titled: My (Other) Beach House. The final song is an old song by Beattrax called Beach Party, but it is such a classic. If you want everyone at your beach party (or really any party) to have a good time, bump one of these tunes and sit back; it's that easy!
David Guetta and Afrojack - Lunar
New Guetta and Afrojack collab, and with those 2 names on the track you know it has to be good. Its sounds a little like Daft Punk's "Derezzed" but a bit more upbeat. I'm sure you'll be hearing this one at clubs and parties in the future, let the remixing begin. Also, have a nice remix from L.A. Riots of Warrior by J.O.B. ft Anjulie, MadV & 12th Planet. Finally, really chill disco type song from Dutch producers Keljet. Enjoy.

3lau
So I've heard some people out there don't like mashups...any mashups. Time to wake up. Wake the fuck up! Alright. I want to introduce you all to an up-and-coming mashup and house producer. 3lau, a undergrad student at Wash U, has been releasing some great house tracks over the past year. Doing a lot of work with Kap Slap, he has put out over ten great mashups that can really 3lau the house up. (I crack myself up) I understand a lot of listeners out there are skeptical of most mashups, but these are truly worth a listen.Monday, August 15, 2011

Lollapalooza: The Best Of
Lucky for me, I spent the past weekend at the four seasons in Chicago having exclusively five star meals, and seeing amazing bands all day at Lollapalooza. Lucky for you, I have embedded some highlights of the phenomenal songs that some of the electronic music artists there dropped during the festival. I would do a full review of the festival, but it would take ages to actually give everyone their proper due. Moreover, make sure to check out all of these songs. Some highlights included Feed Me starting their set with To the Stars, a song that has one of the most heart-pumping buildups I've heard. Others include Skrillex dropping two of his new (unreleased) songs: Voltage and Just Believe. Afrojack played Zedd's Save the World Tonight and Levels, but his best moment was definitely when he played his classic hit Take Over Control. Deadmau5 actually played in a pretty heavy rainstorm, but it only made their bumping tracks more epic. Glitch Mob, Pretty Lights, and the Bloody Beetroots killed it as usual.
